What inspires me...

First I'd like to congratulate Chris and the team for starting this site. Chris inspires me. He has drive and enthusiasm and when life throws him a curve ball he just hits it right back out of the park. I've been thinking about what qualities inspire people and this is what I've come up with...

Qualities that inspire us
  • perseverance
  • not complaining
  • putting others first
  • being compassionate
  • being the best we can be in an honest way

This is not an exhaustive list but all the qualities have one thing in common. They are qualities that make people more fully human. Being an inspiration to someone isn't about being the best there is - it's about being the best you can be. It isn't about coming first, or jumping highest; it isn't about fulfilling your personal dreams - it's about helping others fulfil theirs.
